Oh Seven, I am addicted too. Do you think we can form a DCAnon group?
"My name is Lady Dandelion and I am addicted to Diet Coke!"

I'm sorry....what did you say, sweetie? All I saw was that tank top....

I'll pray for your Diet Coke addiction (personally, I don't see the problem), if you'll pray for me to meet a man that doesn't make me want to pull my hair out.

Where to start.....

I agree with Angie... that tank top... combined with those tanned arms... and that drawl.... OMG.

You aren't addicted to the DC, you are addicted to the sweetner in it... Good luck with beating it. I don't drink pop, can't stand the fizzyness.

Now wait a minute . . . you're 0 7? Not 007? That's hard to believe! You might even be a 0007! Quite being so modest.

Hmmm. I wonder if the demographics would change if Brown-eyed Girl delivered the same confession in the same outfit.

Seven said...

Rob,
Yes. Yes sir, it would.

7. Would getting on my knees for that work?

Anonymous said...

I think I already know the answer to that.

You will meet brown-eyed girl soon in Charlotte. You can try. Come to think of it maybe brown eyed girl needs to do a little talk for everyone. You see, I'm Texas through and through, but I rid myself (mostly) of the accent years ago; but I can do it if I need to, like in the video.
On the other hand, brown eyed girl wouldn't have to fake it; and its very charming!

Looking forward to it. I'll be there Friday. New schedule has me doing three races (300H, 4x100 and 4x400) on Sunday between 9 and 1:30. arrg. Leave Monday.

Rob,
Wow.....thats a tough set of runs. My buddy Courtland Gray is still injured so I'm looking for a win from ya in the 300H

that accent is crazy! good work on making the ladies swoon, and very funny too!

Seven said...

Fatty,
You have hit on something really weird. I intended the video to be funny. I wrote that little script and practiced the accent. Actually its a Texas drawl that comes naturally, but is certainly not my real speaking voice or personality by any stretch.
I found an old tank top that I never wear just because it is currently the C&W music biz uniform. I had no idea honestly that it would be the comment point. I was going for comedy.
Must be how serious women feel when they are not taken seriously. Wait a minute; I guess I am the opposite of a serious women? A comedic male.....Oh.....Never mind....:-)
GAAAAHHHH!

xwy said...

7, we all thought it was funny...really, we did. It's just when we see a handsome man in a white tank...we're going to comment about it. If I delivered the same speech in a bikini...I highly doubt the majority of comments would focus on my comedic ability. (and no, I won't...not even for the sake of research). =)

Storms,
Naw...uh uh...ya'll gone and hurt ol Seven's feelings now

Stacy The Peanut Queen said...

Oh yes...please feel free to wear that white tank top (or any other tank top you may have in your possession) as often as possible! ;)

Seven said...

Queen of the Nuts,
Ya'll girls are jus plain naughty now....that's jus all there is to it...

Lynilu said...

seven . . . dear . . . look in the mirror, for god sake! You can't put that body out there with even part of the muscles exposed and not think women are gonna be all over you!! Then you toss in (and I get that it wasn't what you *intended*, but . . ) that "aw, shucks,ma'am" drawl and body language. Lissen up, sugah, do y'all reelly thaink we laydies won't pounce? I think not! But don't let that stop you!! ;-) or dare I say ;-*

Seven said...

lynilu,
Ok...shoot....and I jus wanted to be a danged comedian and all...you reckon thats why that woman in Portland is sending ol Seven cookies?

Lynilu said...

cookies? Oh, that just begs a smart remark, but I'll behave. Just be careful with those cookies, dear!

It *was* funny, seven, but I'm just sayin' . . . the message to the ears was muffled by the message to the eyes!

Steve said...

Very funny. I dig. Peace.

Jenn said...

No kidding - were you talking? Um yeah...in a soft, drawling voice.

I'm sure it was good. I mean - it was good. Definitely good.

Ah, Seven, I've been lifting you up in prayer because you're my brother and blogmate. And you are a movie star to boot--long live Texas! I want to say more about your video, but I dare not.... this damn Yankee is a fool for you Southerners, but don't take that as inappropriate talk! God bless you.
